Megan Turner
Team Lead, Reception
Megan Turner is originally from British Columbia, and graduated from the University of Victoria. She is currently our Office Team Leader at Moore Equine and has been with us since 2008

Tracy Vanrobaeys
Team Lead, Accounts Payable
Tracy Vanrobaeys is a graduate of the University of Alberta and SAIT Polytechnic and joined Moore Equine in July 2013 as the Practice Administrator/Senior Accounting Clerk. She previously worked in the electronics industry and brings many years of accounting and payroll experience to the practice.

Rachelle Hogan
Reception
Born and raised in Calgary, Rachelle completed the Veterinary Office Assistant Program at Robertson College in 2007. After nearly 8 years in small animal medicine working as a technologist assistant and receptionist, both in a busy emergency and referral hospital and in general practice, she made the leap to large animal medicine and started with Moore Equine in 2014. On the side, she also operates a photography and pet portrait art business. She spends what little free time she has left with her family and far too many pets.

Tami Britton
Reception
Tami has joined Moore Equine as a receptionist and she comes to us with an extensive background in varied administrative roles. She also has a lifetime experience working with various types of horses. She started out riding the Quarter Horse ranch horses on the farm she grew up on and then when she was 10 she started helping out a neighbor that at the time was raising and training Standardbred racehorses. After several years the neighbor returned to her roots of training Saddlebreds and Morgans and Tami was hired on full time and worked there for many years. Tami fell in love with the horse show world and the fancy show horses and has never stopped, she continues to ride and show Morgan show horses.

Kirsty Bracken
Barn Maintenance
Kirsty has been working at Moore Equine since summer of 2010 as a full time stable hand. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her dogs and her horse. As well, Kirsty enjoys training and competing in the dressage ring.

Alison Kippen
Barn Maintenance
Alison joined Moore Equine in 2024 as part of the Barn Maintenance Team. She was born and raised in Manitoba on a grain and mixed livestock farm which included light and heavy horses. After moving to Alberta, Alison furthered her passion for horses through various employment including working as a trail guide in the mountains to top dressage facilities in the Foothills. No matter where life takes her, horses are at the heart of who she is. In her spare time she loves hanging out with her chestnut thoroughbred gelding Clifford.

Kathy Johnson
Barn Maintenance
Kathy was born in Toronto Ontario and moved to Calgary as a child. She has been riding horses for most of her life. She graduated from Olds College with a diploma in Equine Science and has worked in the horse industry doing everything from coaching to showing, to grooming and riding. She joined Moore Equine in the summer of 2024. In her spare time she enjoys riding, playing computer games, watching movies and cuddling her three very fluffy cats, Max, Hera and Leo.

Ahmed Alayyoubi
IT Director, Equipment Manager
A native of Saudi Arabia, IT Network Engineer Ahmed Alayyoubi is a graduate at Ryerson University for the Masters ’ of Engineering in Computer Networks, SAIT Polytechnic for the Bachelors of Applied Information Systems – Network Management and Diploma of Information Technology – Network Systems. With these credentials and experience, it can be said that Ahmed enjoys the troubleshooting and complexity of a networking environment. As the IT Network Specialist for Moore Equine Veterinary Centre, Ahmed is responsible for overseeing the Network Infrastructure.
