Will Paull
Tech Assistant
William was born in Vancouver where he got his start in the horse industry at Hastings Park Race Course. A graduate of Olds College, Will has a particular interest in rehabilitating dangerous or emotionally troubled horses. His other interests include boxing and theatre. Will currently resides in Airdrie, AB.

Sandy Gerencer
Tech Assistant, Barn Team Lead
Sandy joined Moore Equine in September 2005 and brings over 20 years of experience to the team. She currently serves as Barn Manager and oversees the clinic’s laboratory, including running and managing blood work. In addition to her many responsibilities, Sandy assists in the pharmacy and plays an important role in radiology and advanced imaging procedures such as nuclear scintigraphy. Outside of work, Sandy enjoys spending time with her dogs and horses and runs her own barrel racing series, Double S.

Abbey Aimer
Tech Assistant, Reproduction Manager
Abbey joined Moore Equine in 2013 and works alongside Dr. Berezowski as an ambulatory assistant. She also manages the reproduction department at the south clinic. In her spare time, Abbey enjoys hiking in the mountains, traveling and riding at any opportunity.

Vicki Kruse
Tech Assistant
Vicki started working here in 2011 as part of our barn staff team. Later she moved into an assistant position working in MRI as well as helping out wherever she is needed around the clinic. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her own horse Hawk as well as hiking and camping with her husband and dog Kuzco.

Chantelle Mackay
Tech Assistant
Chantelle joined Moore Equine in February 2022 and works alongside Dr. Erin Clarke as an ambulatory tech assistant. Chantelle was born and raised in Cochrane, where she became an English Show Jumper for 5 years and was introduced to the Veterinary Medicine world working at a small animal practice as a tech assistant. She has aspirations of becoming an Equine Veterinarian. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her golden retriever Chip, playing baseball and spending time in the mountains.

Shelby Ganly
Tech Assistant
Shelby joined Moore Equine in June 2023 and currently works alongside Dr. Liz Hanly as an ambulatory assistant. Originally from Ontario, Shelby graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Bio-Resource management majoring in Equine Management. After being introduced to veterinary medicine in 2020 with Dr. John Hennessey and the world of standardbred harness racing, she decided to continue in equine medicine after moving to Calgary. In her spare time she enjoys training her dog Aurora and discovering new hiking locations.

Jordan Born
Tech Assistant, South Clinic Administrative Assistant
Jordan graduated from Olds College in 2017 from the Equine Science Program, majoring in Business and Event Management with a certificate of Equine AI. After working at a breeding farm for 3 years, Jordan came to Moore Equine in early 2024 to explore a career in veterinary medicine. In her free time, Jordan enjoys hiking, playing guitar and hanging out with her cat Taco.

Alison Kippen
Tech Assistant
Alison has been involved with horses from an early age. She was raised on a mixed grain and livestock farm in Manitoba. She joined the barn maintenance team at Moore Equine in 2024 and has since transitioned into an assistant role. Alison especially enjoys caring for in-hospital patients, assisting with appointments and surgery. She feels very privileged to work alongside the dedicated and talented team at Moore Equine. In her spare time, she spends enjoys hanging out with her chestnut thoroughbred gelding Clifford
Lily Weima
Tech assistant
Lily joined Moore Equine in October 2025 and works alongside Dr. Katherine McDonald as an ambulatory tech assistant. Originally from Ontario, Lily moved to Calgary in September 2025 after spending the previous 5 years grooming and managing FEI show jumping horses in the USA and eastern Canada. She is an aspiring airline pilot and is working on her commercial pilot’s license. Outside of work and studying, Lily can usually be found riding horses or hanging out with her dog, Kyle.
